I booked my mum’s and my flight to England. I’m looking into what I need to do for my iPhone to still use it abroad to some degree. From what I could Google it seems I should turn fetch off under “mail, contacts, calendar”, turn airplane mode on, function strictly on WiFi, and utilize the Skype app.
Anyone who has been abroad recently, would you recommend getting an international data pack or should I just do the aforementioned steps to avoid roaming charges?

My postponed Japanese honeymoon time range looks as though it’s becoming a mother-daughter return to the motherland.
Mum told Nan about the idea and now Nana is super excited. I think I should follow through no matter what.
Hell, last time I was there was 16 years ago… I won’t have time to get my BP so my US Passport will be fine - I need to do the footwork though. :-/
I sadly don’t have an accent anymore but I still have my citizenship and passport. I wish I had an accent all the time instead of when I’m drunk or angry…
